Last week, we wrapped up an incredibly successful tour of Crossing Roper Bar ending with a very special event at the State Theatre Centre. This event was the culmination of a massive 2 week journey beginning in Australia’s tropical north, down the west coast and finally south to Perth. We had some incredible experiences, met some extraordinary people and made lots of new friends. We’ve also seen the most beautiful landscapes, visited some very special communities and had one hell of an adventure.  As we journeyed down the western half of this great continent, we certainly got people talking.  Here is a taste of what the world has been saying about Crossing Roper Bar.

Darwin’ s youth newspaper GRIND,  chatted to Paul Grabowsky and Stephen Pigram while they were in Darwin, as did that iconic paper The NT News.

The First nations Telegraph wrote a lovely piece early in the tour and The West gave an awesome rap of both the Hearson’s Cove performance and the Perth concert.  Radio National’s Awaye program last weekend also aired a fascinating package on the tour, which you can hear live again tomorrow night from 9pm.

We’ve also received great feedback from our audience. Thank you to all of you who supported us along this magnificent journey, especially our fabulous sponsors and of course, you, our wonderful audience. Our crew and performers are now having a well deserved break and thinking up our next big adventure…. whatever that may be. Were you fortunate enough to see any of the Crossing Roper Bar concerts? We’d love to know what you thought of it Let us know..
